Together in God’s Creation

Dubai is such a special place! It’s traditions, outdoor scenery, and architecture are definitely one of a kind. Visiting the Burj Khalifa and being up that high while overlooking the city was incredible! Dubai is also known for its shopping, amazing architecture, and exciting nightlife. However, it was the adventure of the sand dunes, camel rides, and cultural eating that we truly enjoyed. Going off roading through the sand while listening to their music and spotting wildlife was so exciting! We even hiked up to one of the tallest dunes and raced down on sleds like little kids enjoying a hot summer day! Sitting out there at sunset on a blanket watching the sun slowly set and having champagne are the memories that are etched in my brain. Watching the cultural dances and listening to music while trying delicious meals was an authentic moment that I will always remember. I would compare Dubai to if Vegas and New York collided and out popped tall modern architectural buildings, vibrant nightlife, hot beautiful sand dunes! It definitely is one of a kind. If you have a chance to visit enjoy sight seeing and being out and about, but take the time to go on an excursion and learn a little more about the culture and God’s architecture. You just might find yourself sliding down sand dunes as well!
